are you trying to cram 2 10'' subs under a 3/4 split back bench seat in a 2002 screw? if so. good luck. I could only fit one (with enough airspace). If you force 2 in there, it might sound like ***.

I have one ten under the driver side back seat and the amp under the other rear seat. But i've recently added 2 more 10'' subs in the middle seat and on the floorboard in the middle, like a make-shift console. It dosnt look bad, and sounds amazing with those 3 10''s

However, i'm not familiar with the 2002 set up, i have a 2003. If you have 3 seperate seats in the rear or its split a different way you may be able to fit them. All i know is the bars under my seat wont allow me to put a sub on the other side.

You will have to figure out what subs that you will be using because every one makes them a little different, for instince the "JL W7" 10" sub needs to have a 8.74 in. / 222 mm hole for it.

If you are buying new subs, they will come with templates that you would use to determine what to cut and drill. Don't cut the MDF before you get your speakers, then use either the speakers themselves, or the templates they come with to decide how to cut the hole for them.

Are you supposed to use Dynamat inside the sub box or outside or both or it is just preference?

Sorry for all the newbie questions guys.

I don't know how your '02 compares to my '06, but I have some pretty detailed drawings in my gallery for a dual 8" box that fits great under 2/3 of my rear seat.

oh, its a Scab, then you can do it dallas. 2 10''s can fit under that seat, but not in the screw, (what i thought you had)

I wouldn't bother with matting the inside of your sub box. But you may want to consider putting no more than one pound of polyfill in it if it's under 1 cubic foot.

The outside just cover to match your interior, carpet or paint.
