Tweeters?

Is it possible to install aftermarket tweeters if the truck didnt come with them. My truck already has the holes and everything but is there an adapter to plug in both the door speaker and a tweeter to the factory speaker harness or since mine didnt come with tweeters am i goin to have to run a new wire?

im not really a car audio expert what do you mean by a crossover and how complicated is that to do?

i have a set of polk audio door speakers that i had in a previous truck and i would like to put them in and add a set of tweeters. i have an alpine head unit already installed and i guess i could run them to the aux output but would rather use the factory harness if possible. Thanks for the help

My Polks, both the db and momo series came with crossovers. You can easily add the tweeters to the doors and use the factory speaker wires if your speakers came with crossovers.
