Ive got an 04 supercrew and i want to put a system in it. i was thinking about a pair of 10's and i'm really not to worried about the price, but i cant find a good 10 that has a low mounting depth. let me know what you guys have in your trucks or what would be good.

 

I have two Kicker CVR-10's powered by a RockFord Fosgate P450.2 amp. Have the box so they fit under the back seat and didnt have to raise the seat at all although the box does stick out a little from under the seat.

 

check out the alpine type s subs - come in 2 and 4 ohm in the 10" with 4 3/8" mounting depth

you can usually fit something with less than 5 1/2" under that back seat with a good box. supercrewsound.com sells some good stuff, or check on ebay. they have the depths listed with the boxes.

I just bought 2 Kicker CVT 10" subs and am going to install the system tomorrow... They will be run off a Kicker ZX1000.1 at 2 ohms. I will let you know how it sounds. The subs have a pretty shallow depth and don't seem to give up much of the traditional woofer design like the Pioneer shallow mounts do.

 

has anyone tried the new fosgate p3 shallow mounts?? Just curious how these sound. I have 4 alpine type r 10s sitting on my shelf that wont fit.
