Yeah when I was cussing at this I was kinda wishing I would have gotten 2 gauge right then. I considered it but I didnt see it very much, about the only company I saw that had a 2gauge kit was Rockford I think. With the 1/0 I have room to upgrade later on though. Like if I feel the need for a second XXK1500 someday down the road

Styx, 8 runs of 8 gauge is going to suck ****. Probably would be to hard to run it through the plugs at the front of the bed, then through the cab vents...4 runs a side or something. Heck, the cab vents and those bed plugs darn near line up with one another.

lol I know those vents line up and I'm taking advantage of it, I have to run a 1/0, 3 4ga, 8 8ga, 2 12ga biwire speaker leads and a set or 4channel rcas through the vents. hell the wire is going to end up being the most expensive part of my install

I dont remember that

I know im not 04+ but heres my plan of attack. from battery back between the fender skin and fender support, then through the major wire exchange by the door hinge, and into the cab, then just straight back along the door sill as pictured (I believe mines 2/4 gauge or something like that)

Well I finally got the pics of where I ran my wire. The wire that us in there now goes to my second battery in my bed.

Wire coming down from fender and into cahannel.

Grommet at the front of the truck.

Wire coming out of grommet at the back of the truck and going to battery in the toolbox. The wire coming back down comes from the battery and goes into the cab for the amps.
