LMI install?
Was wondering if anyone has the instructions for their LMI seat lift.
Didn't get a set of instructions with mine and LMI has yet to respond via email.
Thanks!

Ben do you know how to remove the seat back and the bottom of the rear seat?
I just got off a 12 hour shift and I need to get some sleep but I'll be glad to help you out with the part placement.

Oh Byoon what ever you do DO NOT remove the bolts holding the seat to the floor and drive it around. Those monster bolts are some of the bolts that secure the cab to the frame. The cab could shift and you'll have a hell of a time getting the holes to line back up.
Hey impact, sorry about the wait for the reply. Was in fallbrook picking up my exhaust
Yeah I do know how to take off the backseat, unfortunately my knowledge is only limited to the backseat backrest portion.
Btw wakebrder32 I bought mine off a forum member as well.

Don't start installing just yet let me double check what I wrote so far and make any clarifications I can.
OK well my seat is kinda hard to get pics of with out removing the sub box. I just don't have the energy to do that right now. So I'm linking the photo off LMI's website.

Anyways the seat kit should have came with 2 rear bottom supports and 2 front seat supports and a center support. They are label like RD, RP, FD, FP, C for Rear Driver, Rear passenger and so on. You'll need to remove the bottom seat completely using deep well metric sockets on the bolts on the rear and torques on the front.
I can't recall the sizes off hand so buy a set of larger torques with a T50 and under sizes and deep and shallow well metric sockets with the 17 and 18mm sockets. You'll need that stuff anyways because this truck has a lot of bolts and Torques. Also it's a good ideal to have a breaker bar to do this.
First thing you'll need to do is remove the seat back. If you don't know how to do this use search. After that you'll remove the seat bottom by taking out the 2 torque bolts on both side of the seat cushions. Then take out the torques on the floor that secure the seat front.
Now you need to get the seat cushions off the seat frame. It's a little hard to explain but there is a short rod coming from the center bracket in the split that goes into each seat cushion. You'll have to "spread" the end seat brackets apart and the seat should slide off. Both sides will need to be removed. Then you can easily remove the bolts in the back. This is where you will need the breaker bar. I also had to use from WD40 to help loosen things.
Basically all you are doing it lifting the bottom seat by putting these brackets under the seat. I'm hoping your with me so far as I am dead tired atm.
Ok so if you have the seat completely out you can put the factory seat bar back in it's place but remove the side legs. Then you'll put the brackets label RP and RD in the Right and Left rear spots on top of that bar's bolt holes. You use the factory bolts to secure them in place but leave them a little loose as you'll want to make sure you can get everything in place.
Main thing is the center bracket goes on top of the original bracket. If you have rubber pads on the original remove them and use the holes there to secure the new bracket to the old bracket using new bolts.
You'll put the seat belts latch side on top of the new rear brackets using new bolts. Then toss the seat cushions on the new bracket just like it was on the old one. Sorry I'm being a little vague this is taking longer that I thought and I need to run.

Awesome, I get the jist of it.
I don't have a torque set on me, so I guess the install will have to wait.
That should work out, I'll let you go over your install process to make sure there isn't any kinks. To be honest doesn't sound like your method has any problems though!
