The Subwoofer Thread

I'm bored at work and with all the same reoccuring threads about which sub to get, why not just make a list!

Not being a sound guru like the rest, I'd like to just get this thread off the ground. Here's a few subs that I found while I searched for mine. Feel free to add to the thread, post reviews and what not!

RL-i: Awesome sub, I own the 10'' driver myself and it sounds awesome. Running it off of 250 RMS in a supercrew box. I feel the 250 and the box is limiting the sub itself. Would recommend a seatlift for those wanting the 10''.

If we could find a way to organize this, and if this thread would take off, its not a bad idea. Maybe list some specs along with it such as power rating, coil configurations, mounting depth is a big one here, any other specs you'd like to post up (Sd, Xmax, Vas, blah blah blah)

Everybody may have their favorite subs and you will get a lot of different opinions so here is mine.

If depth were no object, 12" Image Dynamics IDMAX. Still the best sub I have ever owned or heard.

For the F-150 and space limitations, the Stereo Integrity Mag 12" with a seat lift. Incredible sub for less than 7" or mounting depth.

With no seat lift, Image Dynamics IDQ 10" will fit and maybe even the 12" might fit. One of the best SQ subs ever. Does not need a lot of power either.

Here's my short list (no particular order):

AA Brahma 12"
Aurasound MR 12"
IDMAX12
JL Audio 12W6v2 & 12W7 (<---for some reason, I still like this sub)
SI MAG 12"

Someone else can post specs and pics.

There are other very nice subs...but these would be the ones I pick from.

***BTW, the new IDQ (v.3) looks promising...93 dB efficient.***
