? Sub under back seat & fold down?
? Sub under back seat & fold down?
Ok, I have a 03 f150 Lariat Screw. I want to add a subwoofer possibly under the rear seats. Only problem is, I fold down the back seatS when I let my 2 dogs in. Is there ANYTHING OUT THERE that I can get to acheive "some" bass? Not looking to break sound barriers, just needing a little bump to even out the music.
PLEASE!!
PLEASE!!
Yes!
Kenwood and JVC both make self-enclosed subs that
are designed for cars that have the amp and sub in a compact enclosure.
You can go to Crutchfield to see them under the subwoofers: powered subwoofers category.

I had the Kenwood in my 98 supercab.
I just unplugged the wiring harness and RCA patch cable and removed the sub
whenever i needed to fold down the seat.
I just got an 07 supercrew, and for this one i bought the JVC self-enclosed unit.
The Kenwood had more power, but the JVC is smaller and i was able to put it under the center of the back seat, instead of next to the door.
Neither one of these units will compare to full sub boxes, but they both seem more than adequate when versus not having a sub at all.
