im installing my system tomorrow. this will be the first time ive done anything with the sound area. i need to know exactly what kind of wires and stuff i need. if you could please give me as much detail as possible. im installing 2 10" kicker comps. and a 800w boss amp. i plan on bridging the subs. whatever help can be given is appreciated.

Basically what you'll need is like 30 foot 8 guage wire for power and ground and some terminal rings to connect the ground to the chassis, and power to the battery. You'll want a fuse block at the battery on that 8 guage power wire. Then some 12 guage speaker wire. The speaker wires might need the female blade connectors to connect to the subs if the speakers don't have the compression fittings.

I personally would just get a amplifier install kit rated at 1000w rms. Which will come with everything except maybe the speaker wires. Wal-mart here had kits by Schoche (how ever you spell that) that looked pretty good for a budget system.
