Crossover settings?
Crossover settings?
So I have an alpine 4 channel amp and I have it bridged over for the front 2 speakers(just mb quartz coaxils at the moment) im pushing 100 Watts to each front speaker... I've got the HP filter on the amp turned on and the crossover settings at 80 Hz from the HU. Is this the best setting or should I turn off the HP filter on the amp and just use the crossover settings on the HU?

I would personally use the head unit as this allows you to adjust it on the fly if you want to try other settings. Just set the amp to full range or crossover off or whatever your amp has. Just a thought.

Thank you gentlemen that was what i was looking for.. My setting on the amp are HP/LP/off and then I have crossover setting i think 40-200Hz so im just going to set it to off for both the front and rear channel and then adjust straight from the HU.
