My box, for the IDQ's (lots of pics)

Alright guys, we started on the box for the IDQ 12's. It's gonna be a tight fit w/o the seat lift but i think its possible. We took a break, i dont know how to post pic's in the thread but theyre in my gallery. We haven't started cutting yet but the pics of the card board model are in there. The box will be done by tonight, hopefully. More pics on there way

Lol, nice cardboard model.

So how much airspace did you manage to get under there?

Not exactly sure yet, I haven't sat down an calculated the volume out yet. If I had to guess though I would say a little under 2.0 cuft. Im hoping about 1.0 or .9 for each sub, that way they can really get those deep notes. My biggest concern at the moment is getting them to fit. I haven't recieved them yet so I still don't know. All I can do is cross my fingers and hope at this point

they should fit john... you will probably have to cut out some holes on the top of the box and then plug them like the top of brypink2's box (and like my old prefab box). Also make sure you mount them as far forward as possible to get the most depth for the subs... that is if you havent already finished the box, and if so post some pics.

Ahhh, physical therapy sucks. Unless you have a hot female therapist!

Sounds good

I have decided to not go with the IDQ's. I have it narrowed now Between a single mag, 2 Fi SSd's or Q's, Re SE's, Diamond D6's, or BM's. I am really leaning towards the BM though. The more reviews i read about them the more I am starting to like them.
