Hey guys, well i installed or at least tried to install my new system in my L today, i built the box and if u need pics let me know but here the prob. I have 2 MTX 7500's ,single coil, pushed by a MTX 8001 with a 2 farad Tsunami Cap. Well i hooked everything up and when i first turned it on it sounded great, was hittin pretty dang hard and real real clear. so i shut it down and made all my final adjustments such as tightening all screws and bolts and what not, hidin wires. turn it back on and it BARELY hits at all........i have no idea

 

Check all your wires and connects first. Might have pulled out an RCA or something, or screwed through on on accident.

Did you mess with the Gain or Crossover at all?

 

Na i didnt touch gain or cross after it was hittin good, but i will check the RCAs and get back to u tommrow, thx

 

Im not a big fan of capacitors, if you check the connections and everything looks good, try it without cap

 

tis true, I pulled my cap out and noticed a better response on the subs.

 

I agree. Try it without the cap.
