SI Mag / Box
Can you guys provide some info/links to pics of your setup of these? What box are you using? How did you lift the seats?
I need to do something about the sub soon and I may go in this direction.
Dconder,
I know you are running a 12 and I have been looking for a link to your gallery, but can't find one.
Thanks in advance.
Dave

I do have a single 12" Mag under the seat with a seat lift kit from www.lmiwelding.com. My box is just like one of those premade wedge shape boxes. It sits on the left seat lift bracket and the middle hump. That's what raises it up off the floor. I will try and get some really good pics as soon as I get some carpet to cover it.

If I don't want to do the seat lift thing, what would you recommend? I would like something that can handle some more power. The JL 10w3v3 is being DOMINATED by my Rainbows so I need something with more depth in the sub.
I was looking at Brypink's gallery at the three setups he has had and as nice as they are, they all look like they require the seat lift.
TIA,
Dave

If you want any sub worth wild your gonna need a seat lift. My Treos had a lift too, just the box wasn't as big as the one I have now. Although, I think they might fit w/o one...just have to compromise on box volume.

Thanks as usual gents. I may wait until the end of the year and try to switch to a pair of something like this...

Supposed Specs:
12TW5-4
Nominal Diameter: 12 in. (300 mm)
Continuous Power Handling: 300 W
One-Way Linear Excursion (Xmax): 0.38 in. (9.7 mm)
Voice Coil Diameter: 5.50 in. (140 mm)
Nominal Impedance: Single 4 ohm
Mounting Depth: 2.50 in. (63.5 mm)
Recommended Sealed Enclosure: 0.63 cu.ft. (17.7 liters)
Would really like something that will handle more power, but I realize that can't have it all.
