The door panels give you tons of options by their design without making them look modified. How far are you looking to take it and/or how much are you looking to spend.

The head unit if kept will be the weakest link in your new system.

Thanks. I would look into a good quality set of front speakers, a single 10 or 12" sub and as big of a 4 channel amp (running the sub and fronts only) as you can afford. If you plan to add to the system later the amp can be used as a 2 channel for the fronts and add a bigger amp to the sub or subs. The key is to get quality pieces now so they won't need to be replaced if you ever want to upgrade. With products like the rockford 360 or jl clean sweep you can still use the stock head unit even on a high end system.

The stocks sirius radio will only work with the stock HU. I tried changing, and even a sirius ready aftermarket HU cannot use the factory sirius equipment. It does suck, but thats the way it is
