Putting together a System

Hey guys,
I want to put together a system for my 05 Supercab 150. I just had a few quick questions i wanted to ask. I am a student on a budget so would i be able to put a sound system together gradually or would i have to get everything and install it all at once? I want to keep my stock hu,get speakers, amp, and get a 10' sub but dont know if that would be loud enough? Anyone have a 10' amp and how do you like it? Thanks

If its not loud enough, get a sub that will handle tons of power and a big amp. One or two 10" subs can get really loud with no problems.

10 FOOT AMP!?!?!?! Baby Jesus that large.

You can gradually put one together no problem. Are you wanting to put coaxial speakers front and rear, coaxials in the back and components up front, or just some components up front and nothing in the rear. What about a speaker amp? If you go with components your going to want an amp to power them.

As DConder said, one or two 10's can get pretty loud. Then again, it depends on what you call loud...
