There is a guy on here that had two RE RE 8s ported under his rear seat, and two amps under there too. His screen name is Dupuis-something like that anyway, cant remember exactley what it was. Might want to search for some of this post.

im running 2 8s under my seat. it sounds pretty good. i can feel the vibration from them. the only thing that makes me mad is that there is something loose in the seat thats rattling around. i have to position the box perfectly so it dosent rattle, but then it just moves back again after a couple of songs. this is my box

i plan on spray painting tan or something.

Think I can fit two 8''s behind my 1995 F150? It's a single cab.

Either that or one 10'' behind my seat. Which one should I go for?

I'm hoping the box for the two 8''s would fit a lot better than the 10'' sub. Think so?

The 10'' box I tried putting behind my seat is like a photo finish.

Depends on the subs mounting depth and required air space. One of my buddies uncle has a 95 or so reg. cab and has two 12" Alpine Type S subs in there. Im not sure what the mounting depth is on them, but they fit good, and he still had good legroom (he's about 6'3" tall). Im sure they didnt have enough airspace in the little prefab box they were in, but there was a lot more room that could have been used back there.

Like I said though, it all depends on your subs depth and required air space. 8's are USUALLY shallower in depth, but two 8's might require more airspace than one 10, so you might need a bigger box for them.

Ask Dconder how he liked his Arc subs. Much like the Image Dynamics IDQ, which is known for its very very good SQ. If your looking to rattle the windows out, its not going to happen, but they should sound darn nice.

Just a couple other options-Image Dynamics ID and IDQ, Soundsplinter RLi, Ascendent Audio Assassin, RE RE's....All of them seem to get pretty good reviews. If your wanting flat out SQ, Id stick with those Arcs, or the IDQ's.

You'd probably be pretty happy with those Arcs then, or the IDQ's.

Sounddeadening makes a nice improvment, however I wouldnt even consider Dynomat. Reason being that there are other products that are just as effective as Dynomat (if not more effective) that cost much less, such as RAAMat and Second Skin.

I might be thinking wrong, but Im pretty sure that if you call Arc up on the phone and tell them there isnt a dealer within a reasonable distance of you, they will sell direct to you. So all you would have to do it tell them your situation. Then you should be able to tell them what you want, pay them, and you get it sent to your door.

I think its Arc that does that

Im not sure how much different there is between the Screws and the Scabs, but Brypink got two 12" Mags under the back seat of his Screw with a 2" lift...might want to check that out. Ive seen a pair of 10's done plenty of time, shouldnt have a problem with 10's.
I dont think there is that much difference, I really dont know a thing about the 04+ though

What do you call cheap?
