installing subwoofer in factory head unit

Unhappy installing subwoofer in factory head unit

ok i have an 06 super crew which i want to get a box for under the seat but i am not really interested in getting a new head unit . i know i will need some type of converter to change the speaker wire to an rca cable but im not sure what kind and which wires to tap off of . anyone done this before or am i totally wrong on how to do this . sub boxes do you guys reccomend

when i had my stock headunit i had alittle converter behind the radio that the RCA's pluged into and then it tapped the speaker wires, i have a box for one ten under my seat but they make a bunch of different ones, its form SuperCrew Sounds by the way

any rca module that you recomend ? and is there i place where i can find the wiring for the factory harness so i can tap into the correct speaker lines? thanks for the info

it's called an LOC (Line Out Converter). BB, CC, Radioshack or any car audio place will sell them. hell maybe even walmart.
