is it true no bass signal in rear door speaker line level
is it true no bass signal in rear door speaker line level
i heard someone in here say the rear speakers do not receive a bass signal.. the audiophile system does not send a bass signal through the rear speakers so there is no way you can line level input from them into an amp for a subwoofer?? is this true?
please see my gallery for pictures of the stock audiophile sub and amp. i have pictures of the wiring to the amp and wonder what each of these 5 wires most likely does? and then there are 4 wires going from the amp to the sub, why 4 wires to 1 sub?
i want to use the 5 wires to the amp to run a new amp with a new subwoofer. i know i will need a new power cable, but what do the 5 wires to the amp do, and couldn't they plug into another new amp? i shouldn't have to get line level inputs from the rear speakers to run a new sub amp, if i already have these 5 wires going to the stock sub amp.. please help. what do i need to do to get a dual 10" sub box and new nice amp to run using the 5 wires already supplied? plus a new big guage power cable to the amp which i can add.
