WHATEVER MAN! tone is subjective. i like them, i didnt spend a whole lot. all i was doing was asking if an amp would make the sound any better, and then styxnpicks comes in and says "INFINITY BLOWS! WHOO HOO! LOOKS AT ME I'MS TEH PWNAGE WHOOOOO!" now your calling me stupid. thank you for answering my questions. have a good day.

Calm down guys.
Anyways you need a amp and possibly a new head unit if your running stock. There's no freedom in a stock unit compared to a descent aftermarket headunit you know. That's why you can't get the sound quality you want to hear when you just have a basic bass and treble control.
With a quality aftermarket head unit you get an electronic crossover and EQ to tweak to your hearts content. There's alot more to it than that but it'll get you headed in the right direction.

styxnpicks, Man, I'm really disappointed in you making a incorrect statement like "infinity blows"....
Most Ever body Knows, "infinity SUCKs, they never BLOWs"
seriously, infinity tweeters are to harsh, midbass is non existent on HU power, amp them and it will get a little midbass... but as this point the tweeter will run you out the truck....

Wow.
Anyway, throwing a nice amp on them should make a pretty nice difference. Running anything off the stock HU, or even an aftermarket HU, is one of the last things you want to do for real good SQ. If you like the way they sound for the most part, just want a little more volume and detail out of them, go for an amp.
Arent the stock front and rear speakers exactley the same? I dont see any reason for swapping them...unless the rears are blow or something.

yea the front and rears are the same, i didnt know because they sounded completely different when comparing the stockers hooked up. i guess theres something where theres bass bybass in the stock wiring to the rears.
anyways, my original plan was to buy these infinity's for now, then get some components later and put the infinity's in the back, get some subs and an amp to drive all the speakers or atleast the components and subs.
so... can anyone make some suggestions on good amps that would drive all the speakers? thanks
