Just great. I have 4 Infinity Kappa682.7's, an Infinity Kappa sub (sitting on the floor next to me), and am waiting for my 6 channel Infinity amp to arrive and now you guys start bad mouthing Infinity... Oh well, I have a buddy who works for Harman, so I got a good deal. I may have researched more if I thought I could get better quality for the same price. Since they don't make head units, how about some suggestions for an Ipod compatible unit

I bought a set of the infinity reference comps and they are better than stock and what i had in there (blown pioneer 4ways).They sound decent to me, but i dont have that much experience with other speakers to compare them to.
I would like to hear Bry's setup sometime though, but if i do i would prolly go out and buy a set.

everyone keeps saying that they like their infinity's so on and so on....especially if one isn't demanding they may actually be pleased with them....

but why buy an inferior product when there are others that will dominate it in every aspect for the same price.....

I would think one would want to buy the best product at the particular price range that is set fourth.....

OK then hotstang46, what would you recommend? I currently have some older Infinity's in my truck that are pretty good (much better than the stock speakers anyway), but am about to the point that I'm ready to drop a few more bucks on something better.

I have read good things about the Polk MOMO's previously mentioned and may go that route for a few more bucks...
A Polk MMC6500 MOMO at the rated 125W (22.36V DMM) for less than 2 minites...

You gotta tell the whole story so folks don't get the wrong idea cause it could happen on any thing from amps to tickle me elmos.

So F150Truck'in, what did you end up going with, or did you just have that one replaced. I have not had any personal experience or have not heard the polks. The more I read, the more I just want to stick with Kappa's and be done with it because I know they are nice to me...

If you are gonna throw D9s in the mix...the Rainbow PowerLines should be there too. LOL

Also add:

Genesis Absolute
Brax Matrix

Okay, I will bite. What is this 'product' for the same price that will dominate the Infinity speakers??

These are very nice speakers, but are not in the $65-$105 the Infinitys are.
