I would go with the kicks...you'll get better midbass out them.

Are your half Polks 6.5"? The SLCs should fit with minor trimming just like any other 6.5" component set.

EDIT: The SLC Kicks will be just a little more...not sure exactly, but not much. Plus, the price I give you is shipped.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with Millionbuy. I sure hope I don't have a run it with them. I ordered both the 650 and 6500 sets just like you along with a capacitor. I'll keep your ordeal in mind and if I have a problem I'll deal with them for a bit then use my credit card company against them. Sure hope it all gets sorted out for you.

thats basicly what i'm going to do, I had no problem with them intil this B.S.
i'm giving them intil Fri. evening to tell me something from Polk.... then i'm going to send it all back, both sets.... either they are going to refund, or deal with my credit card co....

I like the Polks, nothing wrong with the sound, I just don't have time for the B. S. , I was so mad with these morons last night, don't have the patients to deal with morons anymore....

looks like i'll be going with Rainbow, started to in the first place and should have from the looks of it......

If you do go with rainbows I'd love to know the sound difference between the Polk MOMO and the rainbows. Everywhere I read they get high praises. Any ideal on what models your going with?

Looks like I'm going with CS 265.25 Germanium for the front and SL 165 Sound Line for the rear.... the MMC650 I have in the rear are fine, I guess I'm just funny about speakers matching and blending well, so if Rainbows in front, I have to have Rainbows in back fills too...thats just the way I am.. I run 150w RMS x2 on front and 60w RMS x 2 on rear fills.. so front sound stage will take precedents as it should.... subwoofer, I don't worry about, most any good sub will blend if crossed over correctly, running 300 W RMS on single ED 11Kv.2 10"

Man I sure am glad you steered me toward them, I bought my 6500's from them. But since I modified mine, they no doubt wouldn't be to eager to help if I had a problem.

They sound far better than what was in, and i am only putting maybe 60 or so watts to them.

I think I may pick up a better amp than the Sony Xplod I have now. Going to snow soon, so it may not happen this year.

Good luck with the Millionbuy people, leave me know how it turns out just in case i have troubles.

I know many people that have got audio stuff from them and never a minutes problem, thats why I recommended them and bought my speakers from them too ... but, and this is the clicher.... I don't know a single person that has had to warranty anything from them, this seem to be where the problems and big run around starts, at lease for me anyway..... my speaker played fine for a month until I removed the crossovers from the armrest and changed them to -6db and increased power from 75w to the rated 125w RMS that they should take no problem, left channel went up in smoke in about 1 minute.. literally smoke.. took a week the get the burnt elect. smell out my truck.....

The only think I could fine was a droped 2" strip of solder in the crossover bouncing around... when I installed the crossover, I never removed the top and looked inside, I guess I was just lucky the first time it didn't short out....

I'm sure that was the problem, I removed the crossover and shuck the solder around causing a short and the put 125w to them... bottom line should have not been in there and I sent them the piece of solder with the speakers and crossover..... Warranty and quality control problem from Polk, not me...

Fix or replace my sh$t in a timely and professional manner, thats all I was asking for and apparently thats to much to ask for from MillionBuy.com

Well, I just got off the phone with MillionBuy from calling them tonight as I was told to last week... still no answer from Polk, so I told them I was sending everything I bought from them back... both sets of speakers.... The fellow said he can't say if they will give me a refund or not, not his decision to make and if they do, it may have a restocking fee involved.... I'm sending it back, if there is a problem with the refund, i'll turn it over to the credit card co....

I had enough of this B.S.

I would, I sent it all back front and back, still as of today, have not got a single email, phone call or anyword on my refund from these morons...
My point for this post is to advise of the problem you will have in a warranty issue with MillionBuy.com...

I feel really bad for recommending them to a few on here and them buying from MillionBuy, I just hope they don't have any problem with there products they bought.... does seem to be a good company, until you have a problem, then customer service goes to h@ll in seconds....

Bryan can hook you up with some Rainbows, but be patient, he's moving into a new house right now...

Oh, believe me, I have lit them up like a Christmas tree and they couldn't even get a word in edge wise....

still no results... if you can believe, the rest I returned has to go though the same set on the shelf for a week to 10 days before getting opened deal....

I'll give them two more weeks and then I'll call BBB, news stations, radio stations, credit card company.. and maybe more....
