system help

Hey everyone...finally the next thing on my list is the system. I've asked about it before but now its time to get serious. I was looking at getting an average priced alpine/pioneer headunit..nothing special. Could someone recommend me a model?
I'm hoping to run two 10inch subs under the rear seat in a supercrewsound box. Which sub would would you suggest?http://www.supercrewsound.com/shop/cat/56.htm

Not sure which amp to choose out of these. Which do you prefer?

Finally, Im unsure of what kind of speakers and size to get. Could someone point me in the right direction and price.
I dont want to spend a fortune but want a good quality system.
How hard is to install all of this by yourself..if you have decent knowledge wiring stuff you should be ok?

I think getting the box from SupercrewSound is a great idea, however, I don't think you should buy the whole system from them. You can do better with product lines and prices elsewhere. As for the deck, do you care if it's a single din? Because there aren't many options for a double-din that's in the "average priced" category that are any good. For the subs, I'd go with these: http://www.jbl.com/car/products/prod...=US&region=USA
They're lower profile than most subs, so they'll fit for sure. They sound really good, and best of all, they're CHEAP!

Well, amps are tough to make recommendations on without knowing your budget. JL Audio makes great amps, ARC makes good amps, Alpine PDX amps are cool, Zapco's are good... Out of the amps you linked, the best of them would be the kickers, whatever you do, avoid audioblahn like the plague. Their stuff is shiny, and that's about it.

As far as speakers go, component speakers are the easiest way to get great sound, that's a mid-bass driver and a seperate tweeter on a passive crossover network. If you can find a way to fit them, bigger equals better as far as components are concerned. You'll probably only be able to fit 5.25"s unless you're not opposed to doing a little cutting. In which case you should step up to some 6.5's...

You can do it yourself. Have faith! Here's how: READ, then read some more, then read some more, THEN ask questions if you have any left

here's a couple links to places like this forum that are more centered around stereo installing:

Hope this helps you in your quest a little bit...

As far as headunits, the Alpine 9856 is a great headunit and i think the price is right around 200 bucks.
