Question Questions on installing seat lift

Hey Guys,

I was out tonight trying to get a head start on the LMI seat lift I'm working on this weekend. I was able to get the seat bottoms off, and the front seat bolts, but the back seat belt bolts are eluding me. I alredy busted my 1/2" and 3/8" ratchets trying to pop the bolts loose on the seat since my wife conveniently forgot to read the part of the instructions suggesting using an air ratchet In the morning I'm going to head out and try to get something to get the bolts off. Would a breaker bar work to remove the bolts or will I need an air ratchet? I'm trying not to spend too much money at the moment since my wife is pregnant with some complications, and the medical bills are already high.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I would use a breaker bar before an air ratchet any day

Awesome. Thanks for the help! I'll pick one up at the hardware store tomorrow.

Yeah, breaker-bar. I have 3 air ratchets, and they can't produce NEARLY the torque that you can get from a good breaker-bar! Now, if you could get an impact gun in there... well then you'd have a different story!

That's odd...I used a short 3/8" drive ratchet to get mine off.

But, definitely a breaker bar over an air ratchet.
