Favorite song(s) played on your system???
What's your favorite song(s) that you like to play on your system???
I have a few (no particular order):
Stranglehold (remastered)- Ted Nugent
Hotel California (SACD version) - The Eagles
Garden Grove (remastered) - Sublime
Sweat Leaf (remastered) - Black Sabbath
Romper Stomper - Transplants (this song has nice lows and will tell you if you have sibilance issues)
Lay It On Me - Kid Rock (nice midbass at the begining)
Baby's Got Sauce - G. love & Special Sauce (just because I like the song)
I could go on....

Lets see..........If I feel like lots-o-bass I usually stick in Sublime or Jack Johnson.
System of a Down will usually get the whole system workin' pretty good.
But *****, I like to listen to anything on my system pretty much, except for my Rage Against the Machine live cd, and Cold <- poopy recordings drive me up a tree...

I keep finding myself reaching for my Tool and Perfect Circle albums.
For some reason, I'd never noticed what amazing recordings they were... I've always been a huge fan of Maynard Keenan and anything he's done, but dayuumm they put a ton of money into their recordings. They're flawless. No noise, no hiss. Clean, solid and really well done. The latest album doesn't have a lot of really memorable songs, but they've definitely outdone themselves as far as sound quality is concerned.
Oh, and AC/DC Back in Black keeps finding it's way into the deck too... not the greatest recording, but sure does feel good to crank it
Other stuff that I listen to regularly:
Dave Matthews Band
Jack Johnson (not great SQ.. just good songs)
Dire Straits
I've recently been bitten by the DVD-A bug, and so now I've been buying DVD concerts, like:
Eagles - Farewell Tour
Sublime
Pink Floyd - Pulse
Eric Clapton - Guitar Festival
Santana
The Who
Oh, and I just got 25 years of music from Saturday Night Live. Haven't even opened it yet..

AFI - death of seasons. i know they are a punk band but there is a RIDICULOUS bass breakdown in the song that drops my mirror and somehow finds a rattle through my 3 layers of raammat every damn time i hit it
pantera - cemetary gates: this will let you know if youve invested wisely in your component speakers or not
avenged sevenfold - the wicked end - there is an operatic interlude in the middle of hte song and it SCREAMS on good components
diecast, static X, still remains - 3 metal bands wtih ridiculous bass in their songs
black eyed peas - my humps remix (lil jon remix), yeah sounds stupid as hell but this remix has a ridiculous bass track
three six mafia - late nite tip . . anyone into bass should know this one
metallica - enter sandman
hotel california
pantera - 5 minutes alone: it hits some ridiculous highs

Currently, I have to limit my music selection to songs that aren't too loud and don't have any heavy bass tracks, since it still has crap-tastic stock speakers. one obviously got wet, and one of the rear ones has a puncture in the cone. Soooo, loud and bass rules out most of my music. Typically on radio, sometimes I'll use a tape adapter to my mp3 player(no disc player) and put on some Santana or Bob Seger. I'm getting better speakers soon so hopefully that will change(see my topic if you have any suggestions). With my other car with Bose speakers I'll blast Ace of Base at full volume and the whole car vibrates. Just for the hell of it I tried in in the truck. The loose door panel started vibrating, and this unbearable noise blasted out of the stock speakers. I have never been mashing at the radio looking for the off button that fast, ever. I eventually hit the release and the removable face launched out of the dash onto the bench seat. At least it stopped the noise.
