Ok....Ok.....I know that they've got to sound pretty good. Go ahead & give us the low down on them & if you've ever heard any other brand that comes close to comparison. Run into any problems with the mounting of them?

Doesn't your system have to be complete and installed to even be considered?

I haven't finished messing around with them and can't until this coming up weekend. But, initially they sound GREAT!!!! The midbass is just massive...right in your face...it's unbelievable. The tweeter is accurate, not the least bit harsh...even at higher volumes. I can't think of any set (brand) that compares to the midbass.

Installation...I had to use a 1 1/4" baffle to get them to fit. They have almost 4" of mounting depth. I also had to trim the speaker well on the door panel completely flush. The speaker grill on the door panel barely fits back on. I knew it was gonna be a tight fit and was a little concerned. I didn't get pics because I started getting pressed for time and it was dark, but I have to pull one of the door panels when I get home next weekend and I'll take pics then.

I'd like to see someone put a set of the Rainbow dual mids (CSX 465.20) in their doors. That would be the shizznit!!!! There aren't even that expensive either.

Got em to fit huh? Good dealio...

So you really like that tweet, eh? I might have to check a pair of them out. I got these 25's toned down some, but they could still be better...

Yeah, I'm really happy with them so far. I need to tweak some more this weekend but all in all they sound great. The CAL27 is a great tweeter...I thought I would have to tone it down a bit (cause you know I like a more laid back tweeter), but I didn't have too (out of the box at least).

Dang, look's like a couple of my sheet-rockers got a hold of your door panel with one of their Rotozips! Components look pretty sweet. Upside down, but still sweet .
