Will 06-F150 factory speakers replace 98-F150 factory speakers?

Will 06-F150 factory speakers replace 98-F150 factory speakers?
I replaced the door speakers in my 06, and i was curious to know if i could use them in my 98 ford, the speakers are kinda old and starting to rattle...if they are the right size, i wonder if they will just plug right in also?...Hope someone can help thx, Clay...

well the speaker size is the same at least in the front doors, but the plug in harness is different...im thinking of going to circuit city and buying the adaptor harness for the 06 speakers and just cutting the plug in off the 98's and just connecting the wires, that way i could always plug my new ones back into my 06 if need be.,...
