Clarion srv303 users please help.
I assume you just want to know the connections.
Yellow (power wire) goes to the pin closest to the Low Pass filter switch. The blue (switch on) wire goes to the pin closest to the Gain and the Speaker level input socket.
The black (ground wire) goes to the pin closest to the Gain and the back of the unit.
The fourth pin is not used. This one is closest to the back corner.
So if it is flat on the table, speaker facing up, reading clockwise, it is Yellow, Blue, Black empty. That is with Yellow and Blue being on the speaker side.

help
Chris,
Thanks for the help, if you can still get a picture that would be great. I'm pretty sure that I understand Your directions, but a picture would be great to verify that im on the right page.
Thanks again,
Kevin

Well, it’s too close to the side to get a good picture of. Here is a pic of the unit sitting in the truck, so you can see the orientation.

Now here is a close up of the plug. This is with it in position as shown in the other picture.

Yellow, blue, black, nothing.

Chris,
Thanks a million. How do you like the unit? I'm just wanting to add a little deeper tone to the factory system in my 2002 lightning. And from what I have heard I shouldn't expect to much from the little 7" woofer.
Thanks again,
Kevin

Honestly, it depends on what you want. I am into sound quality, music, hearing the lyrics, enjoying the instruments.
I listen to a very eclectic mix, rock, old country, folk, Irish, Jazz, only a tiny bit of rap, classical,
I am not into loud thumping. I am not into annoying other people.
I have had an 8 inch woofer in the truck for about a year, but the 7 inch Clarion has a crisper sound. I keep the crossovers set so it only reproduces sounds below 100 Hz.
I have Pioneer speakers in all four locations and tweeters mounted on my doors.
I am using a Kenwood deck, mostly MP3's ripped at 192 up.
My speakers are on an Alpine amp.
The Clarion makes enough 'thump' that I keep the gain turned all the way down and have my non-fading set at negative 3.
My truck is a regular cab 2004. The 2004 regular cab is bigger inside than the older regular cab, not as big as the SuperCab.
So if you are into hurting your ears or showing off to the car next to you the Clarion is a poor choice. If you just want more fullness to the sound it is a nice, compact solution with crisp sound.
The wired remote gain control could be handy. On mine I found that the remote induced occasional pops and noises. Something was less than perfect in the cable. Removing the cable fixed that.
I don't adjust it very often. On some songs, especially while sitting still, no engine noise, there is too much thump, hurts the ears, but I can switch off the sub from the head unit. My truck is sound deadened, and the new body is pretty quiet anyway.
At freeway speeds, with wind noise and MagnaFlow exhaust noise, the thump is still nice. Again, sound quality is my goal.
