I'm installing new speakers front doors and rear doors I was wandering if any body could tell me the color code for speaker wires(which are +/-). I tried a search with no luck, thanks in advance. jimmy.

 

I found the color coding to be accurate and consistent on the speakers in an '06 Screw with an '00 Excursion believe it or not. The link is a .pdf file, you'll need Adobe Acrobat reader to view it...

The power wiring however is different...

Looks like:
Left front + = orange w/lt. green stripe
Left front - = Lt. Blue w/white
Left rear + = tan w/yellow
Left rear - = grey w/lt. blue
Right front + = white w/lt. green
right front - = dark green w/orange
Right rear + = brown w/pink
Right rear - = orange w/red

I've also heard that the side closest to the clip that release the factory wires from the speaker is the + terminal, but you may want to verify that...

Also, you can double check the colors by placing an aftermarket wiring harness behind the headunit and writing down the results...
