I know I'm going to sound like the jerk here, but the clips you show of what he's sent you make it look like he's at least trying to work it out for you.

He's human, he made a mistake. He's trying to fix it. You are disappointed, and even mad that it happened. Try to take a breath and work it out in a mature manner. If you just want to send it back and getr a refund, tell him so without raising your voice, and try to use the same level of cooperation he's trying to give you.

You know the old saying about it's easier to catch bees with honey, or whatever it is? The more you go on offense, the more heartburn for everybody.

Having been in his situation, I know I always tried a lot harder to help someonbe who took it easy. The more of a jerk they were, the slower I went (if I tried to fix it at all)

I got a Musicmoose single 10 inch sub box and i'm happy with it. I bought a kicker hard grill, and that keeps it from touching the carpet. I also did this today,I added 5 thick washers(about 1/2 inch total thickness) under all of the seat frame mounts to raise it up alittle, and the sub fits completely under the seat now. Good Luck...

Well it looks like he has a bit of an ego, but I dont see anything thats horrible customer service. He did send you out a new box on his dime...

Is it the best customer service? No...but I dont think its anything to get bent up over. Also I think if you had just called him when he first asked, things would have gotten resolved faster.

Although I have to agree I find it a little rediculous that he doesnt believe your measurements in the pic, I guess you fabbed up a special one just for this purpose

Let us know if the new box is the correct depth...Im considering buying my box from them whenever I get some money.

And im glad i didn't. If i can buy the box over the net and pay him over the net then he should be able to resolve this issue over the net. I dont need to get in any rediculous phone calls with this guy.
I never said things would have been better, I just said they would have gotten resolved *faster*...

although it probably would have just turned into him trying to overwhelm you with his higher-than-thou attitude
