I have 2 12' treo ssi's and theyre quite badass but i'm switching to solobaric because i have a friend who can get me good deals on them. against the treo's will 10 inch solobaric L7's be any competition?

 

I would stick with the Treos.

 

I am a huge fan of kicker products, and a 10 inch L7 is capable of some serious noise. I have two 10" L5's and they sound amazing. But they have a mounting depth of 6 inches, and the L7's have a mounting depth of about 6.25 inches. It is hard to get these things in a truck. If you have a good setup now, I would stick with it. Maybe add a line driver/crossover to manage your system, and send a stronger signal to your equiptment. They are realitivly inexpensive, and they will make your subs sound alot better in my opinion.
