Some differences between the CAL28 and CAL25 are size, freq range, build quality, power handling, etc. It is also known that the CAL28 just smokes the CAL25 in SQ. I have yet to hear any set of Rainbows, but if I had the money I would jump on a pair of Platinums. I'm dying to hear the CAL28 in an "excellent" install.

I've been tossing the idea around to sell my Utopias to get a decent pair of Rainbows. I would have to sell the Utopias first then find the Rainbows (which, is hard right now) and I'm not sure if I want to be w/o components that long.

EDIT: This would also lead me into getting the 4.0 or 6.0, I wouldn't want to put the Rainbows on the reference Zapcos. LOL

On a different note, there is an ARC XXK1500 on ebay that I bid on. It was at 150 and I bid up to 180 and kept getting outbid. I got mad so I quit. Ill probably bid more tomorrow

 

I did hear from him. He said he is leaving tonight for the states the storms hit. He is a claims person. Apparantly, he will have the amp with him and send it out after the auction closes. Kinda leary since he was not willing to take cash and pickup at all.
