need some new subs!!

ok heres the deal, i have 2 10" kenwood typhoon subs with a 980w power acoustik bridged running both of the subs. Dont get me wrong, its loud, but i want it REALLY LOUD! i am selling an old chevy pickup to my friend for $500-$600 bucks and possibly a 350 for $200 on top of that. so thats a total of $700 to $800. I was going to purchase another 980w amp along with a 1.2 Farad Capacitor, so thats around $350-$400 depending on taxes etc. so that leaves me with around $350-$400 for some subs. I can easily cut the holes in my box to accomodate 12" subs. The box has 1.5 cu. ft. of space for each sub with dual 3" ports for each. Sooo.... after all that.. my question is what subs will be the loudest, 10" or 12", dual voice coil, single voice coil, whatever, i just want it loud. heres a few pics of my setup now so u can get a feel of what i have to work with. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

First off, a couple of things...
1. You don't need a cap! They are just an extra stain on your electrical system.
2. Without know the true ported frequency of the box it will be hard to determine which speakers to use to get the best sound out of it. If you lose (seal) the ports it will leave you with 1.5 cu/per and there are many 12 that will work in a box like that.

Easiest route would be to go to Elementaldesigns.com and check out their package deals. For (2) 13Ov.2 Dual 2 Ohm and (1) Nine.1 amp it would $629.00. I think this would be plenty loud for you.

So the cap is a waste of money? ive been running without a cap now for like 1 year and i went through 1 alternator, i blew out the bearings and it squeaked whenever i had the stereo running and i was at low rpm's, like when i let out the clutch to engage 1st. So i bought a new alternator and put that in there. Now this one squeaks. It seems to be when im taking power from the battery it squeaks. I cant run my stereo loud and my headlights at the same time, without it squeaking every few shifts. Add the heater into there and it squeaks everytime. I cant even run the heater and the stereo loud at the same time. I just thought that getting a cap would take some pressure off the battery and the alternator, but if it wont then ill just forget it and spend the money on some better subs. What do u think?

2 ID MAX 10s/12s
2 AV 12s www.acousticelegance.com
2 OZ Audio Matrix Elite 10/12s
2 RE SXs
2 Kicker l7s

Look into an amp like a viper 1200.1 for the ID, AV, Oz and look into dei/viper 2400.1 for the SX and L7s.

Personally, I love Premier subs. I have been running one for a year and a bit, and absolutely love it.
