another component question

well ive already decided on my sub set up for my 05 screw (2 10.22 treo ssi's w/kicker 2500.1, and i will be using an alpine cda 9851 head for now until i get my d310) and now need to make a decision on components. I have been researching them for quite a while and just cant decide on a set. The ones that are sticking out right now are the Polk Audio MMC5250 and the JL Audio XR570-CSi. Im not so sure about the JL's because i was reading some of the reviews on crutchfield and a guy said that they sounded like crap for rock and rap. Personally i listen to everything rock, rap, & country, so i need a component that can support that. Im open for any suggestions, price is somewhat of an issue, dont want to spend over about $600 bucks (not including the amp)
Thanks

There's a bunch of brands mentioned in this thread: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=224341

The subs are in good condition, a little dusty from sitting but work great.

I've never listen to the polk's and haven't since some old school ones from the mid '80s. I can vouch for the Focal Utopias (I'm currently running 2 pair of those in my truck now). I love them but sometimes they are too accurate, if you know what I mean. LOL Another brand not mentioned that are up to par with Focals is Dynaudio.

Shoot me another email and we'll discuss all that. Let's not discuss selling things via the forums.
