New System!!!!

Im so happy i jsut ordered a entire new sound system! I jsut bought 2 amps from Elemental Designs one Nine 2x and a Nine 2. I then bought Peerless 5" component system! In about a month im buying two 10 inch subs from Elemental Designs. I recomend that company over anyone else. I dont see why youd spend hundreds of bucks extra on a better quality product from them. I only bought Peerless over them cause there components are too big for my 05 F-150. My brother jsut bought their EU-700 6.5 inch midrange subs. They are louder and better sounding than most peoples 12's!

Well, Sounds like a nice setup. I will tell you why more people do not mention or buy from them.

1. Internet only makes them not very popular as the average consumer is not aware of them.
2. Shady Customer Service History. Those that have done their homework have no doubt read about their history and how they have treated customers and supposed friends of eD.

I jumped on their bandwagon when they first came out. I still have one of their first gen flat cone 12s sitting in my garage. It is a good sub, for the price. There are MUCH better subs out there. But after reading on many forums about how they treated some people, even to the point of deleting posts or banning on their forum if anyone said negative things about Ben or eD.

I hope for you they have improved there CS. Alot of their newer items look nice, like those Midbasses. As long as you are happy is what is important, so good luck to ya'

Congrats. Supposedly the nine.2x is fairly underrated. Also, I have to agree with Rider69, they have a horrible rep on SIN, and CAF, many people over there hate the owner, due to episodes that occured when the company was just starting out. They do make decent SQ subs, but i doubt any 6.5 is louder than any self respecting 12.

No im telling you they are louder. MY borther use to have 2 12 inch Audiomobile subs which were the best on the market at the time and the midranges i was saying are loud are beat by the 12's but not by a landslide nor close and these are 6.5

Well i feel sorry for that 12, My guess is that it would take around 3 or 4 6.5s to accumulate the cone area of any 12. That should never happen, and if those were my 12s, i'd throw them away.

6.5 better than a 12?

I guess it is all in the eye of the beholder. It sounds like a banging system, however I highly doubt your 6.5 can out perform a 12w6v2.

Not giving you a hard time, just a hard time believing that. Were talking a little over half of the surface area an I guarantee they can't handle half the watts.

I gotta jump on the "hard to believe that" bandwagon as well...

But then again, Audiomobile? What the.......has anyone ever herad of that? I'll defiantely put up my AA 6.5 mids as soon as i get my order, up against the EU700, . It would be an interesting comparo, even though the EU700s have little midbass capabilities (being a sub for the most part), and the AA's are midbasses.

The eu700 is actually meant to be a midbass driver, but it can still play down to 10hz.

As for their customer service, I wasn't around when they first came out so I don't feel I'm qualified to comment on that but I have done alot of business with them over the last two years and I've been nothing but pleased. It is easy to get in contact with them and when they messed up my order once, they had the correct product shipped out the same day.

Sorry I meant mid range, ya the eu700s will play high enough to be considered a dedicated midbass.
