Kenwood Speakers

Hi Folks,
I wanted to get your opinions on some Kenwood Speakers.
Going in a 2005 Super Crew, stock head unit is the 6 disc MP-3.
The speakers I'm looking at are the Kenwood component KFC-P505ie for the front and KFC-C6889ie for the rear.I wont be adding a sub or amp at this time, maybe later.
A local shop has them on sale, but they were not wired in to their display so I could not listen to them.
Thanks in advance for your input!

personally for that price i would look at boston acoustics, much better quality and performance for the same price. Also you can fit 6 1/2 into the factory holes.

For 150 you could definately find some nice components that would be better all around than 5x7 coaxes.

kenwood excelon

i have a pair of kenwood excelon in 5x7 and the sound great. they have great highs, great mids, and they hit quite hard at the lows. The are in the front but plan ti move them to the rear. Looking for some great components for the front.
