Need quick buying assistance...

Need a new 10" DVC 2 ohm sub. It will go in a 1.2 cu.ft. sealed box to be powered by a 300W RMS/ 900W peak amp.

I was looking a JL Audio, anyone have any recommendations? I'm not real familiar with their line of products, though. I think they're more tuned for smaller enclosures, but I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance fella's...

Karson

If you go JL, the W3V2D2 would be the best match.

Others-Incriminator Audio 187 series, Adire Shiva, Sound Splinter Rl-i (only comes in dual 4, but I think if you email Mike he can get you a dual 2), Image Dynamics IDQ10D2 V.2---Those are a few I would look at.

I would recommend looking at the Image Dynamics IDMAX and Diamond Audio TDX. They will work in much smaller enclosures but, will work in one that big as well. Most subs will work in a bigger enclosure than recommended with no problems. The 300 watts is kinda low for the two subs I listed but, the IDMAX has very good sensitivity.

They are pretty nice to, your definatley gettin into some money with those though. Forgot about the Adire Koda now that I see Dconders sig, it takes 300-400 wrms(cant remember what the rating is off the top of my head), of course it cost a fair chunk of change too.

I thought about adding RE, but they dont really have anything to offer in the 300wrms range. The lowest model(RE) is rated at 150 wrms, and the next model up (SE) is rated at 600wrms. IMO theyve always had a gap there that they need to fill.

Id go with the yellow or green line. Although neither are the best way to go, they are the best options Yellow probably being best.

RE's site is www.reaudio.com

For the IA's, youll have to check out visionaryaudio.com to buy them, the Adire and SS will have to be bought direct. For ID, I THINK you can buy them direct, but I know SoundDomain has them, not sure where else.
Diamond can be found in numerous places.

woulda liked the IDQ, but Mike said he can't get me a dual 2 ohm VC. I'm looking more for SQ than SPL....what one of those above has better SQ (is that determined by sensitivity?)?

IDQ comes in dual 2 check ebay or www.woofersetc.com, i think you were talking about the rl-i from SS. I would go with the koda if you can, adire has a good rep from the brahma and extremis lines, so i think the koda couldnt be too far of pace if not right on.

strike 2 on the IDQ's...sounddomain has them on factory backorder listed @ $159, and factory direct they sell for $200...little too much $$ in my opinion

so it's either incriminator audio, jl audio, or adire...

You might consider the Elemental Designs 11Kv.2. I have one in a musicmoose box with only about 150 watts to it and it sounds really good. For $115 shipped, they are hard to beat.
