Subwoofer pop noise

I have installed a Avic-D1 in my 04 Supercrew with backup camera. I have a problem. The subwoofer makes a single pop when I start the engine. Does any one know why the subwoofer would make this noise? Also there is a clicking noise when I turn to the left .The sound is comming from the subwoofer.

is it only when your stereo left on that it clicks when u start your engine? Because when the engine first starts up, the whole car gets a little more power than what it usually gets during normal operation... my speakers did the same thing when I started the car with the stereo on...

I'm not sure about the turning left problem...
maybe your sub is right handed?

The subwoofer did not pop when the factory radio was in the vehicle. I know it is getting to much power that makes it pop. I will take it back to the installer for him to check it out. Thanks for the info.

I installed the resistor and solved the pop. It did the trick. The buzz I was getting when I turns to the left was a loose connection. Problem solved. Thanks for your help.
