DIfference Bewteen THese Kickers? which to buy

Whats the difference between Kicker Comp VR's and CVR's? I found both at awesome prices and wondering which one is the better sub?

I also found Alpnie Type S Subs at an awesome price.

Also came across Pioneer 800 Watts TS-W305C 12" Component woofer with 400wattRMS and i can get 2 of them for $150 shipped. All of the subs listed here i can get 2 of them for about $150 shipped

Which of these three would you buy?

These are my Final four i have decided to buy. Now just dont know which

Yup, they are the same, just dont get the Kicker Comps and Kicker Comp VR's (CVR's) mixed up-they ARE different subs.

With what you are looking for-I would go with the Kicker CVR's-They will do what YOU want better than the others IMO.

They are propablly more than you want to spend, and i havent heard good things about cadence subs. I heard two 12 cvrs ported in a jeep and it rattled the hell out of it, now think about in a truck what they can do. Just be sure to port them if you can.

CVR is just short for Comp "Very Radical".

I havent had any experience with Cadence-but from what Ive HEARD(from many people) is that their higher end subs are alright, and their lower end models just suck.
Again, no personal experience here, but this is what Iv heard more than a few times.

Having them ported means they are in a ported box. Since your looking for the loud, rattle your eyes out bass-you will want to go ported. Ported is more your get loud box(although you can make ported boxes sound darn near as good as sealed boxes) and sealed is more your sound quality box.

A ported box has a "port" in it that, to say it easiest, moves more air, resulting in more bass. However its a lot more involved than just cuttin a hole in your box and stickin a piece of PVC or something in there. Theres a lot of math and such involved.
