What should these be set to?

Okay I have a diamond audio amp rated at 600rmsx1 mono amp. I getting ready to install to push 2 eight inch image dynamics subs. Couple of questions about programming the amp for these subs. SLOPE: 24db or 12db?

PHASE: 0 degrees or 180 degrees?

Lowpass Frequency?

SUBBASS db? and also SUBBASS Hz.

THanks

The slope setting will affect how steep the crossover occurs between the frequencies your subs are reproducing and those in the doors. Using 8's, I'd start with the 12db per octave setting.

Phase indicates whether the subs will hit in phase or out of phase with the lows in the rest of the system. Experiment and see which setting sounds best in your truck.

Lowpass frequency is the cut-off of the upper frequencies being sent to your subs. Typically, the larger the driver, the lower the lowpass setting. 8's can reproduce higher bass notes than most 10's or larger, so you could run them up a little to try it out. Again, listen and adjust to taste.

Don't know regarding the last two settings. Any user manual instructions with the amp ??

Good luck !!
