Serious though. Whats your budget? Do you want subs? If so, how many, and what size. Do you want a SQ system or a SPL system, or both? You a mainstream person or an internet brand guy? We need something to follow here to help ya.

I just redid my whole system. Wasnt planning on it but did it. I just wanted some new subs and ended up spending 900 bucks. Get out while you can. J/K. Ebay is a good place to find some stuff for great prices.

Haha, what he said^

300 dollars quickly turns into 1000 dollars

Wow, umm, only thing I can really thing of that is that cheap and actually not cheap made would be a pair of RE RE's and like a US Acoustics amp. That would be about 300 bucks right there. Dont expect much for that little of money

SQ-sound quality, how good it sounds
SPL-sound pressure level-how loud it gets.

If you are still coming to the Houston get together this weekend I'm sure myself and others can give you some rolling examples. And then from there I know quite a few local smaller shops I deal with all over. We'll help you find something partner.

Send me an e-mail if you want to go over some things. I'll change mine around so you can get an idea of what it would sound like.

I can't really comment on the SQ on these subs, but they can get loud for cheap, in trucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...788401804&rd=1

And there are plenty of amps around for cheap on ebay that are decent for those subs anywhere from 400 to 800 watts should be alrite. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

For amps also search for Cadence, more US Amps, Kicker, Hifonics, DEI, Avionixx, and theres more, but get a mono amp b/n 400 and 800 watts at 1ohm or 4 ohm.

Then i would put these subs in atleast a 2.5 cube ported box. Or you can find a cheap, sealed pre fab box, if all else fails.

My setup is cheap, but still ran me about $500:
(2) Kicker Comp Vr10s-$175
truck boxes-$75
Kenwood Amp-$225
plus wiring and etc. ran about $25
