i ran two JL8W0s in my 97 supercab for a few years driving them in a 2ohm configuration with an MTX 4250D sub amp. Hit 121.9 DBs on the C-scale. Damn impressive for a pair of 8s. had them in the MTX thunderform enclosure. bought it without the subs from circuit city.

plan on switching them over to my 05 screw when it gets here. I think I'm going to have a local shop build me an enclosure. Will drive them with the same amp. They hit pretty hard in my supercab so I'm interested to see how they do in the SCREW.

I've got an 04 SCREW and am also a JL Audio fan. I have 2 8W3V2-D4 subs in a box from subbox.net. They fire down and sound clean and tight. I also replaced the front speaks with JL Audio XR570-CSi and the rears with a couple Infinity Kappas. All tied to a couple Eclipse amps mounted behind the back seat and an Alpine head unit.
A few photos in gallery.

I bought it about a 1 1/2 years ago and don't recall the exact cost. I think that it was about $180 delivered. A bit pricey, but it seems fairly well made.
