Looking for a set up...

I've thrown out the idea of putting a Adire Audio 12" Shiva in my truck, and I am now looking for two 10's that hit those low notes.

Can't be more than $200 per sub.

And I need a decent amp to power those 10's.

First I'm going to start off with one 10 (Gotta save up money) then when my next paycheck comes through I'll get the next.

Any ideas?

It's a '96 reg cab by the way.

Why not Shiva's any more??? Not enough space?

If you wait a little bit, Adire will be coming out with their new models, and a 10 inch Shiva is in there.

Soundsplinter rl-i's
Incriminator Audio 187's

Idsay more but i gotta go

Chad at Ascendant Audio might think about making some Atlas 10's if he gets enough request.

Theres more, not in a thinking mood now though

I havent looked at the mounting depths, but here:

The only problem is those power hungry babies are gonna need a pretty big amp.

Nah, the whole 12 idea isn't going to work sadly .

I thought about getting a koda, but they're so damn expensive.

Do you know when this shiva 10 will come out? If it is anything close to the cheapness that the 12 is, then I will definitely wait.

Well, there new lines were supposed to be out by now, but everytime its been time to release them they say "We promise this time it WILL only be another month" So they havent been to speedy about it. They will get here...eventually.

I think they might even me making a 10 inch Temptest, cant remember for sure. But they are the model above the Shivas.

Just got done looking at their site. For some reason they only have one sub listed. Maybe they're in the process of adding some new subs to the list *shiva 10*..... I can only hope.

Yeah Im sure they only have the 12 listed. Once they get them out they will be on the site.
Heres some info. The quoted part is from Dan Wiggins, who works at Adire.

Hey mytruck, Adire has released their new lines. Unfortanatley, prices went up about 50 bucks . What were they thinking, they were trying to keep prices about the same as the old ones.

Anyway, here is a link to the Shivas.
