To keep my Thunderform or to get a probox...
...That is the question.
Okay, so I'm in the process of completely revamping my stereo system. I have the thunderform enclosure for a single cab F150 and it is filled with the stock MTX's. They haven't been sounding too good lately and I was originally planning on replacing the subs with a different brand. But when I got to thinking about it I really miss the big thump that I used to get out of my two 12's in my Ranger... So I started looking at a probox and think that it'd be a pretty good investment... but I just dropped $350 on a thunderform last summer...
So I don't know what to do!
I'm going to go with rockford subs, is their anyway I can get that big thump out of 10's? Or is my destiny steering me towards the probox?

There are plenty of 10" subs with around an inch of one-way linear throw and high power handling. I would name a few but just about every decent company has atleast one 'super sub' these days. The downside to the 'super sub' mentality is that most of them are very deep (extreme example...the JL 10w7 is 8" deep). It may take some trial and error to find a sub that fits the Tform. I can't comment on the Probox as I've never worked with one.
You can get good bass out of a dual 10" set up but as it is with engines, there is no replacement for displacement.

I HAVE THIS FOR SALE IF IT IS A XCAB. I HAD THE THUNDERFORM AND WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED ALSO. HERE WAS MY SOLUTION.
