You're best bet is to buy a wiring kit for this job. You'll need to run the powersupply (red wire) from the battery to the amplifier. Best to install a fuse at the batter that way you can kill power to your subs if you doing work on them. You'll have to run the blue wire (for the speakers) from the radio to the amplifier. You should also ground you sub by drilling a screw into something metal; I usually do this buy putting a screw in the floor. Attach your speaker wire to the to the amplifier and your speakers and crank it.

This is obviously a very simplified approach but I find it to be that simple after doing it a number of time. Hardest part is manageing to take you dash and trim apart to run the wiring.

You can probably search the web for detailed directions with graphics. Doesn't hurt to ask the guys as a local Best Buy or Circuit City either.

I am also new to mobile audio install, so I needed some simple straighforward info.

The best step by step for general install (not Ford specific) was

www.crutchfield.com

Click on Learn About Audio/Video.

Hope this helps,

Jay
