joe bronco,

Is that a shallow mount sub? Did you raise your seats?

My sub was over 5 inches deep there's no way I could have gotten that + the thickness of the box under my rear seat!

i thought about gettin a w6 and couldnt because of the mountin depth you need almost 7 inchs just for the same and you would have to use 3/4 mdf so your looking at about 8.5 inches under the seat and if you want to fire them down then you need to have at least another half of an each so you dont hit the ground. i raised my seat 3 inches and still couldnt fit a w6. so you might want to look into that before wasting your money

The best I could fit into my 02 F150 ext cab was a single 12" rockford HX2 in a ported box, and even that had to be fiberglassed to fit, I wanted to go with 2 12" as well in a sealed box but there was no way I could get the airspace needed to make them sound good, even with a 4" seat lift kit in the back. So I ended up with the ported 12" box that sits under the 60 part of the rear bench, and threw in a Rockford HX2 12" sub and I was more than happy. I am selling the lift kit, box, and sub if anyone is interested btw, I bought a new 05 F150 and there is no way I will get that sub under there, You can't lift the seats so the max I can put under there is 2 10" subs

If you have an extended cab, your box is going to be almost twice as large to sound good.-And have 2 12" subs.

Notice -I have the space under the seat used as well...

Your mission will NOT be easy.
is there anyway you could send me the planes for the box I have been trying to find one for a 12" for my truck. my email is dragonheart3md@hotmail.com
