First off, welcome to the wonderful world of trucks! Now on to the question.
In a regular cab, you can run all 3 subs in a custom box. There is enough airspace. I am currently running a single 12 with 1.25cubes. Extended cab, if you want to keep the rear seat, you are looking to put a box under the seat. Don't remember the depth on the w6's, but I am pretty sure they are over 5". Custom box with a lift kit on the seat.

Do a search on RTKILLA, he has either 3 JL 10w6's or 10w3's, all right next to each other in a custom box, for a regular cab.

If you wanted to do an extended cab, then you would have to lift up the rear seat by 3 or 4 inches.

Crew cabs - never owned one so I don't know.

Question

thanx.
do you mean extended cab or regular cab. Isn't regular cab just two front seats. where would i be able to fit the box. The extended cab should be able to and the supercrew definitely can right? I dont know im lost. If anyone replies, can you also tell me the size and how many inside speakers there are.

you can fit all 3 subs under the rear seat without spacing up the seat itself. I just did an install with 2 JL 10W6 and fits fine without spacers. You can add the third woofer as long as you don't need more than 2.25 cubic feet. The box I built is flush with the front of the rear seat and takes up the entire width. Hope this helps.

I have 3 10" W0's behind the seat in my regular cab. I can't remember how much clearance there is between the subs and the back wall of the box. JL's website says that the W6's have a mounting depth of 4.875" and my W0's need 5.375; you should be fine. I lost one or two clicks fo the buchet seats but I'm short so it doesn't bother me. If I had built the box taller I'm sure that I could have made it skinnier. I think that the internal volume for each sub is fairly close to the .75 ft^3, probably a bit under. The website says that the W6's need .625 ft^3 so I think that you'll be alright.

Good luck!

Thumbs up

I have a '97 supercab, i installed a 4 1/2" lift kit on my rear seat for about 100 dollars. I have two JL 10 w3 s under the rear seat and the JL Stealth box that houses another 10 w3 in the center console. The air space under the rear seat from middle to passenger side is the width of the box and it comes up to the front of the rear seat. My amps are mounted under the drivers side of the rear seat. The subs are great , the clearest deepest bass in a subercab while maintaining the seat. I also have two
6x9 in the front doors, 6x8 in the rear, and Q logic kick panels with the tweetes, all Pioneer Threeway speakers.

Just came across this old thread, and was wondering if there was any way you might have a picture of this setup? I am planning on doing the exact same thing with the exact same truck, and just wanted a visual aid. Thanks
