i have my amp monted on the back wall. All you have to do is trim the metal support from the back of the seat part that comes off and you can fit 2 good size amps there. You can trim about 2 feet in the middle then bolt your amps to will with no seat interference.

IF you're talking about the single box that holds 2 10"s, then it will hold the amp itself. If you look closely, there is a little hole in the back that they said will hold the amp. If you don't want to put it there, then you can always put it under the driver's seat and run the wires under the carpeting. I have resarched it for a while, and it seems that that box is the best one for out trucks.

Thumbs up

To anyone who's interested, I recently purchased the thunderform kit for my ext cab 150. I purchased it loaded, which includes the two mtx 6000 8" subs. I had wanted the amp to be in the box but for some reason the installer messed up and put it next to the box. I don't really care about that but let me say, they sound soo awesome! The amp is small, only 120 but the subs punch like tens and they can still pound out that LOW bass you're thinking of. I'd definately recommend the set.

From where did you purchase your thunderform kit, and for how much?

Has anyone tried to put subs. in the rear doors? >By building a box that replaces the pocket & then goes all of the way up to the bottom of the handle. You would have to go with a 8". Yes it would involve cutting the door panel & some metal, but I have seen(and done)more radical installs that before.

You can get the thunderform from any circut city. Most "local shops" should be able to get them as well, which is where I got mine. I dealed a little and the whole job, out the door was $650. Includes everything.

BJay,

Is your Thunderform the amplified or the non-amplified version?

I've been considering a Thunderform for mine, but wasn't certain on whether the amplied version was worth the price premium over buying an external amp.

Thanks...
