Just ordered the box and subs last Thursday, and they should be here any day. Then I will have to find a day to put them. Thats the hardest part since I'm working 6-7 days a week. I've worked 16 days straight so days straight so far. I'll let you know though.

I do have an idea for the box though. it appears to fire upward and since it fits under an unraised backseat and mine is raised; I think I will try to put feet on it and have them fire downward.

Ok, I finally got my subs yesterday. Waiting on new amp now. Will put subs in box this weekend and hook up amp when it gets here.

 

Well, got the box and subs in. Hooked up one sub to my amp for the time being until I get my new amp. Sounds pretty good, nice tight bass.

Well, its finally all in! I customized the box by adding a 3/4" MDF over the hole to increase the mounting depth. My subs are 10" IDQ( Image Dynamics) DVC's(dual-voice coil). The new amp is a USAcoustics 2150 150x2 @4ohms. I wired the subs in parallel so the subs would have a 2ohm load. Sounds pretty good, only problem I had was with the remote wire, long story short ended up hooking it to the accessory wire at the HU. Amp comes on when I turn the truck on rather than the stereo but thats ok.
