Need any info on sub boxes for S/C
Are you sure there will be enough air volume in the box for 3 10s to work properly?
Check the recommended volume for the box.
I need some 10s that can work in a small box also.
Let us know how much air space they require.
If you don't have enough airspace low bass will suffer.

Hey Charles! I just installed the Q-Logic sub cases. They not only look great (read below) but with three 8" Eclipse 8604's in there it really sounds rich, clean and loud.
I got the first two in Indiana and I can tell you that I am totally impressed. I had two Eclipse 10" literally sitting on the back seat.
The best thing about them is that they are finished on the front of the cases with a factory color match of the interior. (Mine were beige) They are downward firing and come in a single unit for the 30 seat and a dual unit for the 70 seat. All I can say is that I get a much clearer and true sounding bass with plenty of thump to them with the rest of my system. It sounds as if you're live at a concert.
My door speakers are Eclipse components in the front and 5"x7"'s in the rear door. I also have an Eclipse CD/reciever and Eclipse EQ. (All award winning, by the way plus the best theft warranty out there, by far! They don't find it-They replace it. No questions asked!)
All that with my kicker 6 way amp and my F-150 4x4 SuperCab Rocks!

I have 3 JL10W0-12's and I can hit 137db with 3 cubic feet sealed. I figure it's going to raise the back seat about 3" higher than it already is. Almost made it to the lumber store to buy the wood this weekend, but I was helping my cousin with fixing his Ford... if you know what I mean...

What ever speaker you get the single most important thing is to match the airspace behind it to the size of the speaker and magnet. Too much speaker and not enough air is a waste of time and money. I run 2 8's (the JL box) and response is good and tight but not as low as if running a single 15". The speaker manufacturer will be happy to tell you how much air is needed to run the speaker. Go with sealed boxes. Open boxes are way too complicated to get right. Buy a good quality amp for your subs. make sure it is stable at 2 ohms or less and run it in mono. stereo for subs is a waste as well.
Weck,
Vented boxes can be difficult to build and if you get it wrong it sounds terrible.
If you get it right they will have a stronger bass than sealed.
Check some spec sheets
You will find the -3db point is generally deeper for vented boxes.
Many spec sheets tell you what size port to use and the airspace in the box.
Without the specs sheet it is pain to calculate the vent size using formulas.
I have always had good results with vented boxes.
Agreed the airspace in the box must match the manufactures recommendation within 10% or the speaker will not funtion properly.
That goes for sealed and is even more crutial with vented.
Note: Some speakers are not designed to go in vented cabinets and others are not designed to be compatible with sealed.

What's happening? I have two 12" Orion XTR's and an Orion 2150SX amp, and a bunch of extra stuff. Has anyone tried to put 12"s under the seat with or without a seat lift? S. Adkins, are from Brooklyn? If so, do you still have your old truck?

I hate to refresh this old topic but did you raise the seat on those pictures?
That looks like what I'm planning on doing.
