My armrest folds down and I can give you the dinesions to my box if you are interested just email me.
Yes if I remember correctly his box will go down but you have to move the seat up first.
Hobie2 correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right 54, I cannot move my seat all the way back. My arm rest does go down, but you have to move the seat all the way up before you can move the arm rest down. What model JL's do you have? I use to have W4's, and that was the box they were in. I will send you the dimensions.

54...if I had 10's like you had then I wouldn't have had a problem. But because my old car had 12's, and I liked them, I wasn't about it give them up so I had to make dew with what I had!

Cool

I have two mtx 12" subs behind the seat. I came up with a box that fits all the way up against the back wall (hard to do in the corners), has almost 2.5 cubic feet of interior space, and the best part I don't have to pull my seat up to fold down the console. Start with a wedge shaped box, reverse the top back corners, and indent the center area enuff for the console to slide.
