I have a 1999 F150 SC 4X4 and am in the same boat as you. I broke down and bought matching OEM bucket seats from the local junkyard, swapped out the 40/60 bench seat.
Now I have a big open spot for a custom subwoofer enclosure between the front seats. I have 2 amps that will both be installed under the rear bench(can't flip open all the way anymore though).
Hope that gives you some ideas.

I have a 99 SCab. I bought a box for my 2 8" subs from www.subbox.net that fit under my back seat with a 2" lift that is included.
I have since assembled a board with 2 amps, 4 crossovers, 1 capacitor, and distribution blocks. I mounted the board to the top of the box. I plan on fabricating a couple of 6" lifts using 2x6 rect aluminum tubing after I finish chasing bambi through the woods.
